    Dear Michelle

I had been on leave to attend my niece’s wedding in Punjab, soon after my return I visited PSU-PELI site to get the latest information about the PELI family. I have enjoyed the photographs, each one is filled with our deep memories at PSU. Pictures of Gaye Gould’s house is a new addition, rest of the pictures we have on our USBs, but it is always good to see them on the website.

I have already started working on my action plan. I have shared my plan with the management and now am working with the teachers. My session with the teachers was very encouraging.I am glad that they have shown willingness to assisst me in implementing the plan effectively. Currently am conducting sessions for the teachers to facilitate their understanding about the importance of environmental education.

I am also surfing the net to collect some hands on activities for the students to motivate them to join the Environmental club voluntarily.

Rest all fine. How are things at your end? My regards to all at PSU, specially to our Madam Director.

    Regards
    Rakshanda

I have thought often of all of you since July but have gotten caught up in caring for family and new students.

I heard this morning about the earthquake in soutwest Pakistan and hope you are all well. If there is any thing that we can do to help, please let us know. I am an advisor to a service club and they would love to expand to interational issues.

    Hoping you are well,
    Diane

    Dear Diane
Thankyou for showing your concern for the people of Pakistan who are badly affected by the powerful earthquake that struck Baluchistan, on Oct. 29, 2008 .
The survivors are badly in need of basic necessaties such as shelter, food, warm clothing, medicines, safe drinking water. Our government with the help of international agencies is carrying out relief work in the affected areas, but it is insufficient. Since you have offered to help i think you will have to do a little web browsing to find out how can you contribute for this noble cause.

Thankyou Diane, I really miss you all. I am deeply touched by the love and care shown by each one of you during our stay at PSU. Our wonderful experience of meeting you all through PELI has made us forget our political differences and look at each other as members of one global family.
Thanks for every thing that you people did for us.
    Best Regards
    Rakshanda
