My First visit to USA
Hi All,
My name is Saima Hasrat . i am from Lahore, Pakistan. I have done my master’s in Rural Leadership from ARI Japan and a Diploma in NGO management from IPC, Denmark. Apart from this, I have been working since 1998 in the development sector, especially with oppressed and marginalized segments of society such as ethnic and religious minorities, children and women. I have also conducted research on minority rights and violence against women with one local organization called ASR.
Currently, i am associated with ITA, Lahore and it has been wonderful experience of my life to work with the organization, working for education especially to promote quality education in Pakistan which is a very essential component of development of any nation. Now a days i am here at Plymouth State University for training. This is my first visit to USA.
I m very much eager to learn new skills and techniques of research and evaluation. i am hoping that this experience will enhance my capacity and knowledge. it is undoubted true that i am learning so many thing through interacting with American people.. this is one way of learning.
At my return I will also try to transfer my learnt skills into my fellow colleagues.
A fun in Plymouth…. we are not just learning Off-course we are having fun here.. it is a kind of joyful learning. Our group of 15 people has been very tremendous including Plymouth University staff. we enjoy talking with Sarah, Sean and Blake Allen and others. i will never forget these wonderful people. Every one in my group is very nice and cooperative . they have been wonderful so far. for us here every day brings new leaning and fun. We are enjoying any way. we will keep it up..
