Wonderful!
Hello Everyone,
My name is Sarah Roesener and I am working on the Pakistani Educational Institute Committee as a Community Advisor in the area where the Pakistanis are staying during the institute. I have never left the United States and I have not had many opportunities to meet people from other countries and cultures, so learning about and spending time with the participants is something I enjoy immensely.
To the participants,
I plan to write more later but because it is late, I will keep this brief. I just want to let everyone know how much I am enjoying my time getting to know each of you participating in the Pakistani Institute. You are all such wonderful people and I look forward to seeing all of you everyday. I will be honest and say that while I was waiting for everyone to arrive at the airport I was very nervous but now that everyone is here and I see how truly kind and caring everyone is, all of the apprehensions that I had have disappeared. I hope you make the most out of your time here as I plan to make the most out of my time, learning and having fun with all of you.
Not only is the Pakistani Institute a great initiate to help the educational system in Pakistan, but it is also an excellent tool to learn about other cultures. I am continually amazed to find out how many things people from two different sides of the world can have in common and am honored to have these 15 people here in the United States.
