Project best wishes to our Pakistani friends and colleagues
With the end of Ramazan and its Eid celebrations, best wishes to you all amidst the impact of the wide-spread devastation and losses on so many different levels. The project’s 160 alumni are amongst Pakistan’s dedicated educators who contribute so much to their students, schools and communities. Since the project began in 2004, our Pakistani guests and friends have created rich linkages between Pakistan and the United States – people to people, and community to community. During this challenging time, you all are in our hearts.
This summer’s delegation, who earned the appellation the “Fab 40,” followed in the project tradition as remarkable educators doing remarkable work, like the alumni of previous programs. The “Fab 40″ represented every region of Pakistan, sharing their areas’ rich traditions with one another and with their American friends. You all are greatly missed in Plymouth.
Best wishes to our Pakistani friends and to ITA – with all of the critical work being done with flood relief initiatives and in Pakistan’s education sectors.
